Welcome to House of Valé by Joules Valé. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to House of Valé by Joules Valé (“House of Valé”).

House of Valé operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). House of Valé is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

House of Valé is a curated shopping destination. Products offered through our Services may be sourced, produced, packaged, fulfilled, and/or shipped by independent brands, manufacturers, suppliers, print-on-demand providers, and other third-party fulfillment partners. As a result, products purchased in the same order may be fulfilled and shipped separately by their respective suppliers.

The following terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, purchasing from, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy, you should not use or access the Services.

SECTION 1 — ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or jurisdiction of residence, or that you have reached the age of majority and have given consent for any minor dependents under your care to use the Services on devices you own, purchase, or manage.

To use the Services, including browsing our online store or purchasing products or services, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing information, payment information, and shipping information.

You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete and that you have all rights necessary to provide such information.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity occurring through your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to another person.

SECTION 2 — OUR PRODUCTS

House of Valé is a curated hub featuring products selected from various brands, creators, suppliers, manufacturers, and fulfillment partners, as well as products created or published by House of Valé by Joules Valé.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on a product listing, the inclusion of a product within our store does not necessarily mean that House of Valé physically manufactures, stores, packages, or ships that product.

Certain products may be produced or fulfilled after an order is placed, including print-on-demand products.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate representations, descriptions, photographs, specifications, ingredients, dimensions, colors, and other information concerning products available through our Services.

However, colors and product appearance may differ depending on your device, display settings, manufacturing variations, supplier updates, or other factors.

We do not warrant that the appearance, scent, color, texture, packaging, or other subjective qualities of a product will meet your individual preferences or expectations.

Product descriptions, pricing, availability, specifications, packaging, and other details may be changed at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit the quantities available to any person, household, geographic region, or jurisdiction.

SECTION 3 — ORDERS

When you place an order through House of Valé, you are making an offer to purchase.

House of Valé reserves the right to accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order for any lawful reason at our discretion. An order is not accepted until payment has been successfully processed and the order has been confirmed.

Please carefully review your order, including product selection, quantity, billing information, and shipping address, before submitting it.

Because many products may be sent to suppliers or fulfillment partners for processing shortly after purchase, we may be unable to modify or cancel an order after it has been accepted.

If we decline, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing information, shipping information, and/or telephone number provided with the order.

Products contained within the same order may originate from different suppliers or fulfillment locations. Consequently, one order may result in multiple packages, shipment notifications, tracking numbers, and delivery dates.

Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

You represent and warrant that purchases are for lawful purposes and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

SECTION 4 — PRICES AND BILLING

Prices, discounts, promotions, and product availability are subject to change without notice.

The price charged for a product or service will generally be the price displayed when your order is placed and will appear in your order confirmation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, displayed prices may not include applicable taxes, shipping, handling, customs duties, import fees, or similar charges.

Prices available through House of Valé may differ from prices for the same or similar products offered through third-party websites, marketplaces, manufacturers, suppliers, or physical retailers.

From time to time, House of Valé may offer promotions subject to separate terms and conditions. If promotional terms conflict with these Terms regarding the specific promotion, the promotional terms will govern.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, payment, and account information.

You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and agree to pay all charges associated with your purchase, including applicable taxes, shipping, and handling charges.

SECTION 5 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Because House of Valé operates as a curated shopping destination, products may be shipped directly from their respective suppliers, manufacturers, creators, print-on-demand providers, or fulfillment partners.

House of Valé does not necessarily maintain physical possession of every product offered through the Services.

If your order contains multiple products, those products may:

  • ship from different locations;
  • be processed by different fulfillment partners;
  • arrive in separate packages;
  • have different tracking numbers; and
  • arrive on different dates.

Receiving only part of a multi-item order does not necessarily mean that the remaining items are missing.

Processing and delivery times may vary depending on the product, supplier, fulfillment location, destination, carrier, and other circumstances.

All delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

House of Valé is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, severe weather, holidays, supply-chain interruptions, incorrect customer information, or circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

SECTION 6 — FINAL SALE, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the nature of the products offered through House of Valé, including but not limited to personal-care products, self-care products, beauty products, fragrances, bath and body products, candles, books, journals, cards, customized or print-on-demand products, gift items, and digital products, all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds based on:

  • change of mind;
  • scent or fragrance preference;
  • personal preference;
  • incorrect product or variation selected by the customer;
  • failure to review product descriptions or specifications; or
  • other buyer-related reasons.

Customers should carefully review all available product information before completing a purchase.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

The final-sale policy does not eliminate any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, materially different from what was ordered, or if you receive an incorrect product, please contact House of Valé promptly with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the item and packaging when applicable.

Because products may originate from different suppliers, do not return merchandise to the address appearing on the shipping package unless House of Valé specifically instructs you to do so.

We will review eligible claims and, where appropriate, coordinate with the applicable supplier or fulfillment partner to determine the available resolution.

Digital Products

Digital products are final sale once purchased, accessed, downloaded, or delivered and cannot be returned or exchanged except where required by applicable law.

SECTION 7 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Services, including House of Valé's original trademarks, branding, text, graphics, designs, photographs, videos, audio, written materials, digital products, publications, layouts, and other original content, are owned by House of Valé by Joules Valé, its affiliates, creators, suppliers, or licensors, as applicable, and may be protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws.

Third-party products, trademarks, product photographs, logos, brand names, and other intellectual property displayed through the Services remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, sell, commercially exploit, download, transmit, or create derivative works from protected House of Valé materials without prior written permission.

The names House of Valé, House of Valé by Joules Valé, associated logos, designs, slogans, and other original brand identifiers may not be used without authorization.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

SECTION 8 — OPTIONAL TOOLS

You may be provided with access to tools or functionality offered by third parties as part of the Services.

We may neither monitor nor control such third-party tools.

You acknowledge and agree that access to such tools may be provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind from House of Valé.

Your use of third-party tools is at your own risk and discretion. You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to any terms applicable to those services.

We may introduce new tools, resources, or functionality in the future. Such additions will also be considered part of the Services and subject to these Terms.

SECTION 9 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may contain links to websites, services, resources, or materials operated by third parties.

This may include links to product manufacturers, publishers, marketplaces, social-media platforms, recommended resources, or other websites.

House of Valé is not responsible for examining or evaluating the accuracy, availability, policies, security, or content of third-party websites.

If you leave the Services to access a third-party website, you do so at your own discretion.

Certain links may be affiliate or referral links. Where applicable, House of Valé may receive compensation or commission when a qualifying purchase is made through such a link. Appropriate disclosures will be provided where required.

Transactions completed directly on third-party websites are subject to that third party's policies and terms.

SECTION 10 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

House of Valé is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

However, sales and purchases made through our Store are made directly with House of Valé by Joules Valé, not Shopify.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and House of Valé, including injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services.

You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to purchases and transactions with House of Valé, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

SECTION 11 — PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information collected through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Certain personal information may also be processed by Shopify in accordance with Shopify's applicable privacy policies.

Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify may collect and process information relating to your access and use of the Services to provide and improve its services.

Information submitted through the Services may also be shared with suppliers, fulfillment providers, payment processors, shipping providers, technology providers, and other parties when reasonably necessary to process and fulfill your transaction or provide the Services.

SECTION 12 — FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS

If you submit, upload, post, email, or otherwise provide ideas, suggestions, reviews, photographs, feedback, proposals, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant House of Valé a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display such Feedback for lawful business purposes, including operating, improving, and promoting the Services.

You represent that you own or possess the necessary rights to any Feedback you submit and that your Feedback does not violate the rights of another person or entity.

Where required, you must disclose compensation or incentives received in connection with a review or other Feedback.

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, edit, decline, or remove Feedback that violates these Terms or applicable law.

SECTION 13 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally, information available through the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, photographs, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability, transit times, or other information.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update information or cancel affected orders when reasonably necessary, including after an order has been submitted.

You may access and use the Services only for lawful purposes.

You may not use the Services to:

  • infringe intellectual-property rights;

House of Valé may restrict or prohibit automated access to the Services at its discretion and may employ technical measures to enforce such restrictions.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, subject to applicable law, if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that reasonably threatens House of Valé, its customers, suppliers, partners, or Services.

Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, and outstanding payment obligations.

SECTION 17 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and products made available through the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis except where expressly stated otherwise.

House of Valé does not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free.

Information provided through the Services is made available for general informational purposes. Although reasonable efforts may be made to provide accurate information, we do not warrant that all information will always be complete, current, or error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, in which case those exclusions may not apply to you.

SECTION 18 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOUSE OF VALÉ BY JOULES VALÉ AND ITS AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH THE SERVICES.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

SECTION 19 — INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless House of Valé by Joules Valé and its affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of another person or entity.

SECTION 20 — SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion will be deemed severed from these Terms.

The validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

SECTION 21 — WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms, together with policies and operating rules posted through the Services, constitute the agreement between you and House of Valé regarding your use of the Services and supersede prior communications or agreements concerning such use.

SECTION 22 — ASSIGNMENT

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

House of Valé may transfer or assign its rights and obligations subject to applicable law.

SECTION 23 — GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements through which House of Valé provides Services will be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in the jurisdiction where House of Valé by Joules Valé is headquartered, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply based on your place of residence.

The headings used in these Terms are provided for convenience only and do not limit or otherwise affect the interpretation of these Terms.

House of Valé reserves the right to update, modify, or replace portions of these Terms by posting updated Terms through the Services.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of material changes.

Your continued use of the Services following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.
